Preparation, Presentation and Price are key to a successful home sale. One very important element of presentation that many sellers overlook during preparation is furniture placement.

Too much furniture makes a room feel crowded and appear smaller than it actually is.  Not enough furniture and a room feels cold. Either way, potential buyers will not be impressed.

You create uncertainty in the minds of buyers when space and function of each room are not clearly defined. Most buyers can’t visualize so they take each room at face value….what they see is what they get. Don’t expect a buyer to spend time figuring out a better floor plan if they don’t like the one you have shown them.

Buyers who don’t like what they see at your listing are going to move on to the next listing.
